Uniform relocates in Liverpool
Developer Merepark has signed brand agency Uniform to a 5,600 sq ft office in Bold Street.
Uniform works with Bacardi, The FA and Glen Dimplex Home Appliances among others. The agency has taken space at 9-19 Bold Street, which is more than twice the size of its previous Liverpool base, Urban Splash's Vanilla Factory.
Nick Howe, managing director of Uniform, said: "We were determined to remain within the Ropewalks area if at all possible. This was one of the few spaces that fitted the bill, giving us additional meeting rooms, a prototyping workshop and a proper canteen for staff.
"We are expanding rapidly as part of our long term growth strategy, so we needed a studio that fitted our ambitions. It's a fantastic space for staff to work and relax, and also to bring clients."
The new premises are on the edge of Merepark's £160m Central Village mixed-use scheme, currently midway through development.
Neal Hunter, associate director at Merepark, said: "Central Village is continuing to attract a good blend of high-calibre companies to this area of the city and we're seeing a strong pipeline of names coming forward to express interest in our two existing units on Bold Street."
When completed in 2014, the six-acre Central Village development is set to extend Liverpool's retail and leisure core with new hotels, office space, retail outlets, restaurants, bars, cafes, a new public car park and extensive landscaped public spaces.
DTZ and CBRE advised Merepark.
