Total Park Middlewich nets first tenant

Contour Showers has signed a 15-year lease for 26,000 sq ft at the still-being-constructed industrial scheme.

Total Developments’ Total Park Middlewich sits three miles off Junction 18 of the M6. Main contractor Pioneer Design and Build is aiming to complete the 156,000 sq ft scheme in the first quarter of 2024.

By signing a deal early with Total Developments, the company has been able to tweak the design of the unit to offer space for manufacturing, offices, and a showroom.

“As a specialist manufacturer and supplier of easy access bathroom adaptation shower solutions for elderly and less able people, it’s vital that we are able to showcase our products to our customers so that they can understand the benefits,” said a spokesperson for Contour Showers.

“Our new location at Total Park in Middlewich will provide our business with the space to do just that by creating a spacious showroom at ground floor level which is accessible to all.”

The new unit at Total Park Middlewich will also mark a substantial increase in space for Contour Showers, which currently operates out of 18,000 sq ft in Winsford.

Contour Showers’ space is just one of seven units available for sale or rent at Total Park Middlewich. The project’s units range from 15,400 sq ft to 35,000 sq ft. Legat Owen and CBRE are joint marketing agents for the scheme.

Matt Pochin, director at Legat Owen, said: “Total Park Middlewich is really starting to take shape.

“The scheme includes a range of USPs including large yards, extensive parking and an EPC rating A,” he continued. “We do not see any competition for this standard of scheme within a 20-mile radius.”

Total Park Middlewich was designed by C4 Architects. In addition to Total Park Middlewich, Total Developments is also constructing the 45,052 sq ft Total Park Widnes.
