Tim Rackham becomes Applethwaite MD

Having joined Eric Wright Group’s housebuilding arm as commercial director three years ago, Rackham now steps up to lead the division.

EWG said that since joining the company, Rackham has played a key role in improving company operations across multiple areas at a time when the leadership team has grown.

At the same time, the firm said, Applethwaite has strengthened its sales and customer journey functions along with expanding its landbank strengthening its future pipeline of developments.

Jeremy Hartley, chief executive of Eric Wright Group said, “Tim has played a pivotal role since joining Applethwaite. The decision to appoint him as managing director comes at an ideal time, providing strong operational continuity as we look to the future.”

Before joining the Lancashire property group, Rackham worked at firms including Gleeson, Create and West Properties.

Rackham said: “I’m excited for the next phase at Applethwaite, we have bold ambitions and with the strong and talented leadership team and dedicated staff we have much to look forward to.
