Sports training firm relocates

Harvest Housing has completed a letting at Stanlo House on Granby Way in Manchester to educational development company World Academy of Sport.

The housing group has sub-let 1,650 sq ft office space on a five-year term for the World Academy of Sport's head office.

James Raspin, surveyor at DTZ Manchester, advising Harvest Housing, said: "The proximity of Stanlo House to the University of Manchester was an important factor that attracted World Academy of Sport, which has relocated from the University of Manchester campus. Manchester's reputation as a leading sporting city means that it continues to be an attractive destination for a wide-range of organisations involved in sports activities."

He added: "The building offers a mix of residential and commercial uses, and with this latest letting it is now fully occupied. This is further testament to the strong performance of the Manchester occupier market, particularly in the city centre, given the weak economic backdrop and more muted occupier activity across all the other regional cities."
