Shake-up at HCA as senior managers take private roles
The Homes & Communities Agency has launched the search for new heads of area for Cheshire & Warrington and Greater Manchester, following the departure of Neil Pickering and the resignation of David Chilton.
Pickering was formerly head of area for Cheshire & Warrington, and left the HCA in June this year to become development manager at Manchester-based consultancy CRE8 Management. He said the move was in order to focus on more hands-on projects and delivery work. CRE8 clients include Ask Developments, Transport for Greater Manchester and Nikal Property Developments.
Chilton is head of area for Greater Manchester, and is due to leave the HCA at the end of September. He has taken up a position as director of development at Rowlinson Construction.
The heads of area in the North West report directly to Deborah McLaughlin, executive director of the HCA.
The newcomers can expect a salary of between £72,000 and £93,000. The job will include the development and implementation of the HCA's investment role, working with local partners to meet housing and regeneration objectives and driving the delivery of local investment plans.
The closing date for applications is Friday 12 September. To view further details and apply visit www.homesandcommunities.co.uk/careers/job-vacancies
