Settio appoints managing director

Daniel de Abreu will be leading the Manchester-based residential lettings and management company in its push to capitalise on a successful year of growth.

De Abreu joins Settio from LiFE Residential, where he was the head of business development. He has more than 20 years of experience and worked with teams in London, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

This international experience will come in handy in his new role as managing director at Settio Property Experience. Settio has an office in Singapore and is opening a flagship office in London this year.

One of Settio’s goals for 2024 is to recruit more Mandarin-speaking investment executives to help grow its roster of Chinese property investors.

Settio already employs more than 30 staff members, having more than doubled its staff in 2023. The company has more than £407m of property under management, working with more than 1,700 clients in 17 different countries.

As managing director, de Abreu will be based in Settio’s headquarters at the Northspring building off Spring Gardens in Manchester. He will work alongside the company’s co-founders Chris Parsonage and Samuel Fitz-Hugh.

“I’m joining Settio during an exceptional period of growth for the business, and I’m particularly excited to be working with the team and co-founders Chris and Samuel, continuing to deliver an exceptional service to our client base and partners,” de Abreu said.

Fitz-Hugh took time to welcome de Abreu to the Settio fold.

“Daniel’s wealth of invaluable experience and proven track record in driving growth and providing exceptional service in the residential sector will enhance our delivery of five-star property management services on behalf of an increasing number of valued clients based all over the world,” Fitz-Hugh said.
