Seneca makes 37,900 sq ft deal at Cheadle Royal
Acting on behalf of Seneca Property Investments, Williams Sillitoe and Canning O’Neill have let The Lakehouse, a 37,900 sq ft office in South Manchester to ME Group.
ME Group will relocate from Alderley Park, where it occupied 18,000 sq ft. The company will take The Lake House on a 10-year lease with a break option at the fifth year. The announcement comes after Balfour Beatty vacated the building four weeks ago.
Chris Bullough, director at Seneca Property Investments, said: “It’s fantastic to be able to welcome ME Group to The Lake House and I’m sure it will prove to be the perfect environment for them to continue their impressive growth. Whilst The Lake House has always been a desirable HQ location, this has certainly been enhanced by the opening of the new £290m Manchester Airport Relief Road which is a huge asset to the area.”
Charlie Williams, director at Williams Sillitoe, commented: “There is pent up demand in south Manchester for high quality accommodation, which has been evidenced in securing a letting for the building so quickly after the departure of the previous tenant.”
Rental price was undisclosed.
