Sellafield opens £110m construction tender

Sellafield Ltd has launched a tender process for two new facilities at the Cumbrian nuclear power plant.
The tender document describes the work as the "early engagement in the design process, detailed design, supply, installation, construction, works for a…Box Encapsulation Plant Product Store 1 and Comprehensive Import Export Facility."
Sellafield Ltd is the company responsible for the safe delivery of contracts on behalf of site owner, Nuclear Management Partners. The company also operates plants in Capenhurst and Risley, Cheshire.
The closing date for tenders is 28 February 2009.
