Sanderson Weatherall moves to Chancery
Chartered surveyor and property consultancy Sanderson Weatherall has relocated its Manchester office to the Chancery, 58 Spring Gardens.
The firm is taking 3,457 sq ft on the fifth floor of the building on ten year lease and is moving from its current office in nearby Brook House.
Sanderson Weatherall employs 30 people in its Manchester office. It said that it had outgrown its former offices in Brook House, which it has occupied since 1991. The firm has offices across the UK and employs over 200 people nationally.
David Murray, partner at Sanderson Weatherall, said: "We're pleased to be moving into the Chancery, it's a fantastic building and finally enables us to locate together on a single floor."
OBI Property advised the landlord Aberdeen Asset Management. OBI also recently designed and project managed a refurbishment of the common areas of the building including the lifts, lift lobbies and toilets.
Richard Lace, associate director at OBI Property, said: "The letting to Sanderson Weatherall builds further momentum on the Atradius letting last year. Our build team will soon be refurbishing the 7th floor which will provide 5,773 sq ft of space and given the quality of space, excellent location and competitive rent, we already have a number of other parties interested in relocating to the building."
Sanderson Weatherall represented itself when agreeing the lease.
