Roma promotes Allison, eyes growth
Michael Allison has become the lender’s commercial director two years after joining the Manchester-based firm.
Allison’s promotion comes as Roma Finance sets its sights on boosting its loan book to £350m in the next two years.
Allison joined Roma as head of transformational change in May 2021 from Together, where he worked for 13 years.
In his new role, he will lead the company’s pre-completion division and build the strategy for sales, underwriting and, completions.
“Being part of a business that is so focussed on people has been a pleasure and there is so much scope to do more,” Allison said.
“The values and morals instilled within the business are second to none and I am delighted to be leading a team with so much passion for the partner and borrower journey.”
Scott Marshall, managing director and founder of Roma Finance added: “Michael has been a major asset to the growth of Roma.
“The positive changes that will be broadcast throughout 2023 to materially enhance the partner and borrower journey are ground-breaking in our industry.”
