Riverside revs up £89m repair contract

Riverside Group, one of the country's largest housing associations, is inviting bids for a contract covering repairs and maintenance across 12,000 properties in South Liverpool.
The contract will run for at least five years with an optional extension of up to 10 years and additional properties may be added or removed from the scope of the contract. The registered social landlord remains undecided on whether the contractor will also carry out gas servicing and other planned works.
Between five and 12 firms will be invited to tender on 21 January 2010. Contractors have until 11 December to submit pre-qualification questionnaires.
