Retail investments go to auction

Two prominent Liverpool retail investments will be up for sale at the Acuitus commercial property auction on 8 December.

The shops which house the Slaters and Peacocks stores at 14 to 21 Williamson Street are being offered for sale with a guide price of around £1.9m. A purchase at this price would reflect a yield to the buyer of around 13%.

Also up for auction are 8A and 8B Great Charlotte Street which are let to Pizza Hut at a current of £135,000 a year. These are being offered for sale with a guide price of £1.275m which would reflect a yield of just under 11%.

Auctioneer Richard Auterac said: "These are well-located stores which offer good returns and we expect strong investor interest."

The auction starts at 2pm on Thursday 8 December at the Millennium Hotel, Grosvenor Square, London W1.
