Radius attracts three new tenants to Prestwich

Three new tenants have taken space at the 25,000 sq ft Radius retail and leisure scheme in Prestwich.

Ego Restaurants, the Mediterranean restaurant chain, has taken 3,120 sq ft and is now trading.

Costa Coffee is also now trading, having taken Unit 4, which consists of 932 sq ft with an 800 sq ft mezzanine floor.

Tote Bookmakers has exchanged contracts on Unit 5 totalling 1,004 sq ft and will fit out in the New Year.

All three tenants have agreed lease terms of 15 years.

The new occupiers have joined existing operators Croma Restaurant, Barracuda, Superdrug, Quality Save and Prestwich Pharmacy at the mixed-use scheme owned by Irish investor Hugh Mohan.

Only two small units remain at Radius.

Mike Bathurst, partner at Edwards & Co, the sole agents on the Radius scheme, said: "The Radius scheme is proving a great success in what has become a difficult property market. Prestwich town centre has long-needed a regeneration review and can now enjoy living up to its demographic profile. Radius is a winning formula of mixed use retail and leisure with high quality residential, which has now created a 'dwell time' destination for residents and ultimately helped raise the town's profile and complement its regeneration plans."
