Promotions at SI Sealy
Stockport-based mechanical and electrical engineers, SI Sealy & Associates have announced three promotions. Chris Crookes is promoted to electrical technical director; Daniel Madden and Matthew Pickford are promoted to associate directors.
Crookes, formerly electrical associate director, has been with SI Sealy for 14 years. He is currently leading the electrical design review of the medium-term works at the Houses of Parliament, as well as acting as project director on the refurbishment of Keele University's electrical infrastructure.
Madden, a mechanical design engineer with 12 years' experience, has been with SI Sealy for eight years. He has worked on a number of high-profile projects, including the innovative Think Low Carbon Centre at Barnsley College which enables students to study renewable energy technologies.
Pickford, a mechanical design engineer, came to SI Sealy in 2000 for his year placement as part of his Building Services Engineering degree. SI Sealy then sponsored him through his final year. His clients include JD Sports and their subsidiary brands.
David Stafford, director of SI Sealy, said: "Chris, Daniel and Matthew are all very talented engineers and embrace our ethos of developing strong relationships with clients. Their promotions are well-deserved.
"As part of our continuing desire to provide high quality engineering design as well as strategic advice to future-proof clients' buildings, we are restructuring to increase the number of senior engineers we employ, whilst reducing the number of junior engineers. The promotions of Chris, Daniel and Matthew are part of this strategy."
