Progressive signs at Churchgate
Progressive Digital Media has taken a 6,600 sq ft office suite on the sixth floor of Helical Bar’s Churchgate House on Oxford Street, Manchester, on a 10-year lease.
The letting follows the recent announcement that Workplace has opened its first venue within Churchgate in an 8,300 sq ft office, alongside additional lettings to occupiers such as Clarity Travel and JISC.
Churchgate and its sister block Lee House provide a combined 250,000 sq ft of office accommodation with available suites ranging from 5,000 sq ft up to 20,000 sq ft. A new reception, which links through to the courtyard, offers meeting and breakout space.
Helical Bar said that it is now refurbishing additional space within the building following its recent lettings success.
Progressive is a global media company with offices across the UK, US, Asia and Australia.
CBRE and OBI Property are joint agents for Churchgate & Lee.
Kirsty Littleford, associate director of office agency at CBRE’s Manchester office, said: “The latest letting to Progressive Digital Media adds to the lettings success Churchgate has received since its re-launch in May last year. The historic and attractive property offers some of the largest floorplates in the city and following Helical Bar’s investment into the building, it’s easy to see why Churchgate has fast become one of the most sought after office locations in the city.”
