Procure Partnerships unveils £1.8bn framework
More than 103 lot bids were submitted, but only 28 companies were successful in securing a spot on the renewed Procure Partnerships North West Contractor Framework, which was created in partnership with Oldham Council.
The previous framework had led to the delivery of more than 150 construction projects. Like its previous version, this new framework will also not charge the public sector a direct fee to access it.
The new framework launches in April and covers projects ranging from £50,000 to more than £30m. It expires in March 2026.
Morgan Sindall, Seddon, Wates, and Bam were among those named to the building side of the framework.
“Our appointment to three lots of the North West contractor framework provides us with an opportunity to support the public sector in the long-term as it addresses the key challenges posed by regeneration,” said Wates regional director Dave Saville.
“Its collaborative approach will not only promote more innovative, efficient ways of protecting our environment and achieving net zero, the value it places on supporting communities will enable us to create lasting legacies through the delivery of skills and training.”
Bam Construction North West regional director Ian Fleming said: “We are delighted to retain our place on this important framework and we look forward to working with Procure Partnerships again over the next four years.
“BAM’s strong ties across the North West have seen us create thousands of jobs, train new generations of professionals, generate millions of orders for local businesses and our buildings have helped to educate, heal, and provide work and leisure for many people,” he added later. “The reward for us is creating this wider social value and leaving a legacy for the communities where we deliver these outstanding new buildings.”
Eric Wright Civil Engineering, Sisk and A E Yates were among the companies named to the infrastructure side of the framework.
“Procure Partnerships [is] delighted to have concluded the renewal of the North West Contractor Framework after an exceptionally successful first iteration,” said national framework manager Faye Dolan.
“We look forward to engaging with our contracting partners, old and new, whilst continuing to support brilliant public sector projects – congratulations to all contractors who have secured a place!”
