Phase two of Parliament Residence moves forward

Goodwin Construction is due to complete demolition works for phase two of Liverpool’s Parliament Residence in the coming weeks, paving the way for construction work to start on the 11-storey apartment block.

Designed by architect Falconer Chester Hall, the mixed eight and 11-storey building will contain 145 residential apartments, with a mix of one and two-bed homes.

The developer Assetcorp has already brought forward the first phase of the development, which has now sold out ahead of completion. This phase is currently being built by Goodwin, and is project managed by Avison Young.

Avison Young has also been appointed as project manager on the second phase, but it is understood a main contractor has not yet been formally appointed.

In total, the Parliament Residence development will provide 201 apartments once complete.

The second phase of the project secured planning permission from Liverpool City Council in June last year. The professional team also include Zerum as planner.
