Pell Frischmann recruits Heale

Anthony Heale has left his director role at RoC Consulting to become technical director for the international engineering consultancy company, helping lead the Northern team.

Taking on a newly created role, Heale will join Pell Frischmann’s buildings sector, working from its Manchester office.

The buildings sector utilises the firm’s civil and structural engineering expertise for developments around the UK.

The appointment intends to expand Pell Frischmann’s offering into the North of England, which Heale will run from Manchester and Leeds.

Pell Frischmann has 650 employees – 70 work in Manchester in a multi-disciplinary team, covering transport, active travel, infrastructure, land development, growth and regeneration, water, environment, buildings and asset management.

Regarding the appointment, Heale said: “It is an exciting time to be joining Pell Frischmann as a lot is going on with many expecting the market to become increasingly busy towards the end of the year.

“I’m particularly excited to be able to develop the Pell Frischmann buildings sector in the North, establish a team here and forge new relationships.”

Jonathan Childs, sector director of the buildings team, spoke of his “delight” at the appointment.

He said: “As well as his knowledge and expertise Anthony shares our commitment to exceptional service delivery and development of our people.

“I believe there are exciting times ahead as Anthony helps drive the growth of our buildings sector across the region.”

Pell Frischmann operates from 15 offices nationwide, including in Wakefield, Mold, Leeds and Sunderland.

Its projects include the lead technical advisor role on Victoria North for Manchester City Council and FEC, lead civils designer for phase 1 of Port Salford, the Marton Estate, Fylde masterplan for Homes England and the lead transport advisor for Atom Valley/Northern Gateway.
