Peel linked with MTV Europe at Media City

MTV Europe could become the latest major prelet tenant at Peel Holdings' Media City UK scheme in Salford.

The broadcaster is believed to be considering moving its European headquarters to the North West.

The relocation of BBC's Radio Five Live and children's departments, from London, is due to start in 2010.

Peel said it is in talks with a diverse selection of media-related companies.

Bryan Gray, chairman of North West Development Agency, was recently appointed chairman of Peel Media, following the departure of managing director Brian Greasley.
