One King Street refurb complete

One King Street in central Manchester has been re-presented to the market following its £2m refurbishment.

EPIC UK acquired the 63,000 sq ft building, largely occupied by bookseller Waterstone’s, in 2014 and has fully refurbished the reception and communal areas, along with the fourth and fifth floor office accommodation. Sustainability Inc worked on the building’s fit-out, with design provided by Space Invader.

The fifth floor, totalling 4,444 sq ft has been pre-let to cybersecurity firm MWR InfoSecurity, which was advised by CBRE.

One King Street 1Sixteen Real Estate is retained as agent. Nick Nelson, director of the firm, said: “One King Street is undoubtedly one of the most impressive refurbishments in the city centre. It caters for all the needs of a modern office occupiers without compromising the traditional character features of the building.”

The fourth floor, comprising 9,105 sq ft, remains available.
