Nutter becomes Northstone MD
One of the original directors from the Peel-owned housebuilder’s 2019 foundation, Craig Nutter steps up from heading operations.
Northstone said that over the firm’s early years, Nutter, who was commercial director until 2021 before becoming operations director, has been pivotal in establishing supply and subcontractor chains, specification and product identification, development viabilities, cost forecasting/control, and putting processes and procedures in place as the firm entered a fiercely competitive sector.
Nutter, who previously worked for Persimmon and Bellway before joining Northstone in 2019, plans to continue Northstone’s growth, with ambitions to more than triple output over the coming five years.
He said: “I am delighted to be entrusted with this position. Having been part of Northstone since day dot and seeing the journey of the company, the quality of the homes and sustainable communities we build and the experience we are able to provide to our customers, makes me incredibly proud.
“I am really excited about the future. We are the ‘new new build’ and we continuously strive to push the boundaries of the homebuilding sector to be as sustainable and energy efficient with our homes as possible, with zero compromising on quality and style.
“It fills me with pride to be leading such a unified group of professionals at the top of their game and can’t wait to support each and every one of them in navigating our ambitious growth plans and look forward to seeing more and more Northstone developments created across the North West and beyond in the coming months and years.”
Big fan of what I’ve seen of Northstone so far. If Craig has been a part of that then it’s a boon for their future.
