Nobles BDM joins Thomas Barnes

Contractor Thomas Barnes & Sons has recruited Paul Buttery from Nobles Construction to the marketing team in its Bury head office.

Buttery spent three years as business development manager at Nobles in Liverpool.

Andrew Field, senior business development manager at Thomas Barnes & Sons, said: "Recruiting Paul is a real coup as he is highly regarded and well liked across the construction industry. His appointment is part of our strategy to take the business to the next level. 2013 was already looking to be a record year for Thomas Barnes in terms of value of projects secured. Paul's experience and determination will further enhance that."

Thomas Barnes & Sons trades from offices in Bury, Liverpool and Birmingham, employing 55 staff in total. The company's existing clients include Salford Royal Hospital, ISIS Waterside Regeneration, Ainscough Equestrian, Carpenter, Stockport Council, Bradford Teaching Hospital and Bury Grammar Schools.
