Work to start on Panattoni’s spec Crewe shed
Lead contractor Winvic Construction is to deliver the 305,000 sq ft scheme, the developer’s second at Crewe Commercial Park.
Completion of the project, named Crewe305, is scheduled for autumn, according to Panattoni.
The development will feature 291,000 sq ft of warehouse space, 14,000 sq ft of offices, and parking for 49 HGVs.
Panattoni won consent for the 14-acre scheme in 2019.
Crewe Commercial Park, formerly known as Basford West, is located off Jack Mills Way close to junction 16 of the M6.
Panattoni’s first development at the park, a 240,000 sq ft speculatively developed warehouse named Crewe240, was let to specialist fuel, food, and animal feed distributor NWF Group last year for a 12-year term.
Readie Construction completed the scheme in the first quarter of 2019.
Dan Burn, Panattoni development director, said: “After the success of Crewe240, we are delighted to be back on site in Crewe and it is exciting to see construction underway again. This is a well-established logistics location at one of the region’s most sought-after warehousing and distribution centres.”
Legat Owen, Burbage Realty and CBRE are the letting agents for the scheme.
