Sheppard Robson promotes Leyland to partner

Marie Leyland will lead the architectural practice’s interior design group in the North from the company’s Manchester office.

Scotland is also under Leyland’s purview.

Leyland started in her new role as partner in July. She joined Sheppard Robson in 2005 and became an associate partner with the company in 2017. She has led on Sheppard Robson’s projects for Bupa Salford Quays and the offices for Squire Patton Boggs and ITV.

Leyland’s promotion was just one part of a larger announcement from Sheppard Robson. The company also unveiled three other non-Manchester-based partners: Anna Shapiro, Laura Matthews and Nick Hacking.

Other North West promotions from Sheppard Robson include Adam Douglas, Haroon Iqbal, and Matthew Taylor being named associates. Kevin Fielding is now the director of BIM and design technologies, while Jemma Hughes has taken the role of head of business development. Cheryl Taylor is now senior BDMC coordinator.
