Sale on board as regional Lovell boss

Lee Sale has been appointed by housebuilder Lovell as managing director for its North West business.

Starting this week, he joins Lovell, the partnerships homes development arm of multidisciplinary group Morgan Sindall, from Jones Homes North West where he was regional director. Prior to that, Sale had spells with Bellway, Gleeson and Wates Living Spaces in a housebuilding career of 27 years.

Lovell managing director Steve Coleby said: “Lee is a proven business leader with an outstanding track record of success in residential development and contracting across both open market sale housing and affordable development.

Lovell’s current North West forward order book is at £385m with the business set to complete more than 440 homes in the region this year. Major schemes include a £40 million, 200-home development at Altcar Lane, Leyland – the first North West development through the Government’s Accelerated Construction programme.

Other key projects include a £12m development of 105 family homes in Yew Tree, north Liverpool, the maiden project for Liverpool City Council’s housing company Foundations. Lovell is also amidst work on Oaktree Grange, a 220-home, £53m development at Clayton-le-Woods, Chorley.
