Prezzo signs at Mann Island

Italian restaurant group Prezzo has joined Starbucks and Brasserie Blanc in signing at Neptune and Countryside's Mann Island development on the Liverpool waterfront.

The final phases of Mann Island are due to be completed later this year. Merseytravel moved into its new offices in the commercial building last week and the Open Eye Gallery and Starbucks opened for business in recent months.

Mann Island block onePrezzo will occupy 3,500 sq ft unit with 120 covers in block one, facing the new Museum of Liverpool. Prezzo will trade in a unit next to the new Starbucks.

Steve Parry, Neptune's Managing Director, said: "Prezzo is a great national brand and we are delighted to welcome them to Mann Island. The Pier Head area is already buzzing with activity with the new Museum of Liverpool and as parts of Mann Island are completed, such as the Open Eye Gallery and new Starbucks, we are adding to that waterfront activity."

Prezzo was formed in 2000 and now has 160 restaurants in the UK.
