Pozzoni gets go-ahead for Stockport scheme

Altrincham-based architect Pozzoni has been granted planning permission for a 25,000 sq ft mixed-use redevelopment of industrial land next to the River Mersey in Stockport.

Developer Corovest proposes a mix of hotel, offices and residential on the site, owned by Kwikfit and situated at the junction of Heaton Lane and King Street West, bounded by the River Mersey and Stockport Railway Viaduct.

The residential accommodation will face south overlooking the Mersey; the hotel and offices will front Heaton Lane and King Street West.

Engineering consultancy Hilson Moran advised Pozzoni.

No start date was given.
