Police frameworks on offer

Merseyside Police is seeking contractors to carry out repairs across its 1.3m sq ft estate for the next three years.

No more than eight suppliers will be appointed to the framework which is due to come into effect on 1 April 2014.

The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner's estate comprises of 77 properties and 16 tenanted houses. The properties include the headquarters in Liverpool city centre, police stations, training centres, stables, laboratories, car parks, firing range, vehicle workshops and police houses.

The framework will be for minor works packages valued at between £5,000 and £500,000. The work on offer covers maintenance and repairs to building fabric, mechanical and electrical systems, and painting and decorating.

The deadline for expressions of interest is 19 September.
