North Wales holiday park on the market

The Falls Resort in Dyserth is up for sale for £2m with the potential to be redeveloped for either leisure or housing.

The resort’s owner, Dyserth Falls, was forced into liquidation earlier this year with Opus Restructuring & Insolvency and Anderson Brookes appointed to manage the company’s assets.

Lambert Smith Hampton has been instructed to sell the seven-acre site, which features a country club, outbuildings, and 94 holiday cabins; LSH said it was expected to “attract widespread interest” from leisure and holiday park operators along with residential developers.

Matthew Hardy, associate director at Lambert Smith Hampton, said: “The Falls Resort is an extensive site with significant scope for further development and expansion within the existing footprint.

“It occupies an enviable rural location, close to large towns, stunning coastlines and popular tourist attractions.

“We are confident it will appeal to a range of potential buyers, either to continue its existing use or with a change of use, and we have already received lots of enquiries from interested parties.”
