NHS Trust tenders for Chorley hospital power plant

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking companies to build a new combined heating and power plant for Chorley and South Ribble Hospital.

Combined heat and power units, also known as cogeneration plants, generate both electricity and heat for buildings, as a form of energy recycling.

The trust is undertaking a project to install a unit into the existing boiler house at the hospital located on Preston Road in Chorley.

Deadline for submitting tenders is 12pm on Monday 1 November.
