Neptune selects architects for framework

Liverpool-based developer Neptune has appointed ten architectural firms to a framework agreement to provide lead design, masterplanning and architectural services throughout the North West, West Midlands and Wales.

They are:

  • Austin-Smith:Lord
  • BDP
  • Broadway Malyan
  • Buttress Fuller Alsop Williams
  • Falconer Chester Hall
  • Halsall Lloyd Partnership
  • Leach Rhodes Walker
  • Ryder
  • Shedkm
  • Sheppard Robson

Last July, Neptune construction boss Stephen Osuhor announced that the company will be going through a public procurement process normally used by local authorities and government agencies.

Neptune said the architectural framework will be in relation to various mixed-use and regeneration projects but did not disclose any further details.

Neptune added that the projects could be in partnership with public sector agencies or local authorities, and in some instances might have an element of funding assistance either directly or indirectly.

The public sector has grant funded or put land into Neptune schemes in the past such as Mann Island in Liverpool and New Brighton in Wirral.
