Land Law attracts new recruits

Land Law LLP has appointed property finance expert Hans Scheiwiller as a partner, one of two new recruits.

He joins the niche commercial property practice in Altrincham having previously spent over 25 years in the commercial property and finance departments of the Manchester office of DLA Piper.

He will be developing and extending the property finance services offered by Land Law while working within the transactions team.

Scheiwiller is the second recruit to join Land Law this year, with litigator Angela Hughes having joined the firm's property litigation team in February from Chester firm Jolliffe & Co.

Land Law has also promoted Illyr Pride, head of the property litigation team, to associate partner.

Illyr joined the firm in 2011 as a senior solicitor having previously been at the Sheffield office of DLA Piper.

Land Law LLP now employs 19 fee earners.
