Hive opens office at Peel’s Pie Factory

Advertising and design agency Hive has taken office space at The Pie Factory in Media City UK.

Hive, founded in 2006 by Edwin Jones, will join companies including Potential, TSL, Toasted Productions, and MK-V, which have all opened an office at The Pie Factory.

Jones said: "We had a great 2009 which saw us shoot our first TV commercial, in South Africa of all places, for a major consumer brand. We are determined to build on that success and being in The Pie Factory, with its prestigious location will allow us to do that."

Jones has worked for a number of North-based advertising agencies including TBWA and Poulter's, prior to setting up Hive.

Formerly a food production line, The Pie Factory now accommodates three sound stages ranging from 3,000 sq ft to 6,800 sq ft and a choice of office accommodation.

The Media City UK studio block also incorporates a costume department, make-up rooms, dressing rooms and green rooms.
