Goodall joins Together

Robert Goodall, who has run his own investment and asset management business for 12 years, has joined property finance company Together as lending director.

A chartered surveyor by background with time at firms including Darryl Lee & Co and NAI Fuller Peiser, Goodall will be based at the firm’s headquarters in Lakeside, Cheadle.

Together is headed by Manchester business grandee Henry Moser, who has led the operation through various branding changes since 1974.

Manchester-based Goodall Investments has been involved in deals worth close to £30mn in the past 12 months.

Goodall said: “I’ve been self-employed for more than 12 years, so I knew it would have to be a very special opportunity for me to change roles.

“When I came to Together, I was really impressed with the size and the scale of the business as it is. However, seeing its ambitious plans, and where it could go over the next three to five years, has confirmed I’ve made the right decision. I’ll be joining an already-strong team and having the chance to help to grow the business will be fantastic.”

Goodall’s experience of development finance includes having acted as a consultant for Goldentree Financial Services, set up by bookmaker Fred Done and his brother Peter.

At Together, he will be responsible for planning, organising and directing the finance company’s commercial lending operations.

Marc Goldberg, commercial chief executive at Together, said: “Robert is somebody who has more than 20 years of experience as a chartered surveyor and not only deeply understands the property business but also has a wide ranging knowledge of finance.

“He is a great addition to the team and will be able to work together with his strong network of clients, as well as Together’s existing customers and introducers, in making lending decisions and delivering our message of common sense lending across the UK.”
