Delifonseca Dockside set for August opening

Less than four years after opening in the city centre of Liverpool, popular deli and restaurant Delifonseca is to open a second, larger outlet in the south of the city.

Founded by Candice Fonseca on Stanley Street in October 2006, Delifonseca has become a trusted upmarket feeding post for city workers and residents throughout the week and claims to be the city's only authentic deli.

The new deli/restaurant will be in the same space at Brunswick Dock once occupied by another deli Il Bacino and Harry Ramsdens before that. The dockside store will have in-house butchers and bakers, world food stalls and a 60-plus covers restaurant.

Brunswick Dock is home to numerous businesses in bespoke buildings and smaller unit business parks as well as extensive housing popular with city executives at Quebec Quay.
