Auto supplier signs for Jupiter Warehouse
The Jupiter Warehouse on Knowsley Industrial Park has been let to TTAS, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Toyota.
B8 Real Estate and Jones Lang LaSalle acted on behalf of landlord Gresham House in securing a 10-year lease for the 143,000 sq ft speculative development. Trilogie acted for TTAS.
The quoting rent for the unit was £4.75/sq ft.
TTAS will use the base to provide supply chain support to the Jaguar Land Rover manufacturing facility at Speke.
Howard George, a partner at B8 Real Estate, said: "This deal comes on the back of a spate of deals in the Liverpool city region. Johnson Controls recently committed to a new 150,000 sq ft facility, Marks & Spencer has recently taken a 300,000 sq ft warehouse facility in Knowsley and B&M Bargains is expanding with a further 500,000 sq ft facility at Speke.
"This shows the increase in confidence in the area and the resilience of the industrial sector within the market. Other major projects including the Liverpool 2 Container Terminal and new Mersey Crossing will bring further new development, investment and jobs to the region."
