Aberdeen signs another tenant at revamped Acresfield

Finance provider Car Loan 4U has taken occupancy of 6,480 sq ft on the fourth floor of Aberdeen Asset Management's Acresfield building in St Ann's Square, central Manchester, with plans to take more space in the building in the coming months.

Car Loan 4U's new office is in addition to its 12,000 sq ft base at Winterton House on Lyme Green Business Park in Macclesfield, where the firm already employs over 250 people.

James Wilkinson, chief executive of Car Loan 4U, said: "We're very excited about moving into Acresfield. The facilities in the building are excellent and for us to grown in line with our ambitions, we need a first class working environment that, alongside a great benefits package, will enable us to continue building a world class team here at Car Loan 4U.

"Marketing, tech and product teams will be moving to Manchester and along with the fit-out in Acresfield we are also planning to overhaul our existing facilities in Macclesfield and grow our sales and operations teams by 25% this year."

Aberdeen Asset Management completed a comprehensive refurbishment of the building in late 2014. The latest deal closely follows the recent letting to Morgan Hunt in the building.

OBI Property represented Car Loan 4U on acquiring the new lease and was appointed to design and project manage the new fit out.

Savills represented the landlord on the transaction.
