Network Space plans 100,000 sq ft Warrington industrial
Outline plans now submitted aim to see the former Cadent gasworks site on Winwick Road redeveloped into industrial space with supporting office accommodation.
Network Space Developments wants to convert the brownfield site into employment use, taking advantage of the site’s proximity to the national highway network.
The plans outline either the development of two sheds or a series of smaller units, amounting to 100,000 sq ft.
AEW Architects will lead on design, while Spawforths acted as the planning consultant for the application.
Savills and B8RE are the joint agents marketing the site.
Joe Burnett, director, Network Space Developments, said: “These proposals for the Winwick Road site, will transform a redundant brownfield site into a thriving employment hub for Warrington.
“Our vision is to deliver high-quality, sustainable workspace that meets the needs of modern businesses and supports local jobs and investment.
“We are positively engaging with Warrington Council and other stakeholders to shape a scheme that will deliver long-term benefits for the area.”
