Morgan Ashurst wins £6.5m school build

Sefton council has appointed Morgan Ashurst as construction partner for a new £6.5m multi-level school for Rimrose Hope Church of England Primary in Seaforth.

The new school will be located at the existing site and replaces the current school buildings, catering for around 315 pupils. The contract is worth £4.8m to Morgan.

MA will create a large geometric building, providing 11 classrooms, two specially adapted moderate learning difficulties (MLD) classrooms and a 26-place nursery.

Barry Roberts, area director for MA in Liverpool, said: "It is the type of construction project that we really enjoy doing because it so important to the community. I hope the staff and students are looking forward to seeing their new school building take shape."
