MMU seeks contractors for £4.8m Crewe sports block

Manchester Metropolitan University has published a tender for a £4.8m design and construction contract for a new exercise and sports science building at its Crewe campus.
The 35,000 sq ft building will need to contain laboratories and consulting rooms, an eight court sports hall, a fitness and health suite, weights room, and a sports injury clinic.
MMU has stated a starting date in September this year, with completion expected to be in June 2010.
Deadline for submission of interest is 28 May.
