McLean and Downing appoint DLA’s Prince

High-profile Merseyside lawyer Michael Prince, partner in DLA Piper's Liverpool office, is taking early retirement to take up non-executive directorships with two of the region's biggest property firms.

Flintshire-based housebuilder David McLean and Liverpool's Downing, one of the dominant commercial landlords in the city, have both appointed Prince to their boards.

Prince, 52, will leave his position as a partner in DLA's corporate law department at the end of the year after 21 years with the firm. He was managing partner of the Liverpool office until four years ago.

Prince will retain a consultancy role with DLA.
