MCI makes deal with Promenade to bring forward Ellesmere homes
MCI Developments, part of Keepmoat Homes, has submitted a planning application to deliver 187 homes on Meadow Lane in Ellesmere Port.
MCI has exchanged contracts with the site owner, Promenade Estates, subject to planning permission being granted. The site has been derelict for 10 years and development had stalled.
The proposed scheme will bring forward a mix of home types including 127 two-, three- and four-bedroom homes, and 60 one- and two-bedroom apartments.
Discussing the planning application, MCI Development’s regional managing director, Alex Wood, said: “We are excited to potentially be bringing forward this stalled site and hope to be able to bring much needed homes to the town.”
Daniel Hynd, managing director at Promenade Estates said: “We’re pleased to have submitted our planning application with MCI Developments and hope that they will be able to bring this disused site back to life and deliver quality new homes for the people of Ellesmere Port.”
Ellesmere Port is not Ellesmere (PNW). Ellesmere is in Shropshire.
