McGeown made director at Jon Matthews Architects
Frances McGeown, who has been with the Manchester-based design practice since the outset, has been promoted, while Enrique Rodriguez has been made an associate.
McGeown followed Jon Matthews from 5plus in 2018 when he left to set up on his own.
She was appointed associate director and has spent the last six-and-a-half years in that role.
Now one of six directors within the 20-strong team, McGeown’s projects include the Red Bank residential scheme, part of FEC’s Victoria North, and the masterplan for Accrington town centre.
“I am delighted to take on the role of Director at JMA and am truly grateful for the opportunity,” she said,
“I look forward to helping drive our vision forward while continuing to contribute to impactful projects.”
Rodriguez has been at JMA since 2020. He has been promoted to associate.
Jon Matthews said: “I always want to promote within the practice and the skill and work of both Frances and Enrique is exceptional.
“We are working on some really exciting projects and looking forward to a busy year helping clients deliver great things.”
