Manufacturing site changes hands in Oldham

Acting on behalf of palm oil manufacturer AarhusKarlshamn UK, Davies Harrison has sold a 58,000 sq ft manufacturing facility on Falcon Street in Oldham.

Local manufacturer Recon Packaging paid £1m for the unit, situated on a 2.75-acre site.

Rick Davies of Davies Harrison said: "We were encouraged by the level of interest that we received for the property, which came mainly from local manufacturers and traders. It demonstrates that there is healthy demand for commercial property within the Oldham area. Due to the amount of interest received the property was sold by way of a best bids scenario."
