MAG makes second hire from JLL
MAG Property, the property and development arm of the airport operator, has appointed Julian Stott as development manager.
Stott will be responsible for working across MAG Property’s land bank and development portfolio which extends across London Stansted, Manchester, East Midlands and Bournemouth Airports.
He joined after a year at JLL where he was a director in its hotels and hospitality group. Prior to this he worked at PwC, Ask Developments and Cushman & Wakefield.
Last month MAG announced that it had recruited JLL development advisor Adam White as director of commercial and business development.
Lynda Shillaw, chief executive of MAG Property, said: “It’s important for our business that we have scale and versatility, particularly as we look to bring forward a variety of development schemes in the near future.”
“Establishing a strong team is really important for us as we move into the next phase of our growth. MAG Property is well placed to capitalise on its knowledge and expertise gained as a leading property company within the aviation sector.”
MAG Property has a £623m mixed-use commercial portfolio and 1,000-acre land bank at Manchester, London Stansted, East Midlands and Bournemouth airports.
MAG Property manages MAG’s 50% investment in the £800m Airport City Manchester development in partnership with Beijing Construction and Engineering Group, Carillion and the Greater Manchester Pension Fund.
