LSH markets 250-acre MoD site
A former Ministry of Defence site in Cumbria, the Solway 45 scheme, has come to market as a development opportunity.
The 250-acre site lies a mile from Junction 45 of the M6 close to the border of Scotland, and provides direct access to the West Coast Main Line as well as a number of ports.
There is already significant infrastructure in place. Lambert Smith Hampton, which is marketing the site, said that it was inviting interest from developers, rail operators, the logistics and energy sectors and industrial companies.
John Sullivan, associate director at Lambert Smith Hampton, which is marketing the site, said: "Solway 45 is a prime strategic opportunity within the North West which has enormous potential for local, national and global businesses. As well as unparalleled connectivity, it is close to a number of major urban centres to provide access to a local workforce.
"This is a strategically important site in a region that is currently enjoying significant investment across a number of sectors, such as advanced manufacturing, and the Cumbrian Local Enterprise Partnership has identified Solway 45 as one of its priority projects."
We’re delighted at Blaze Marketing to have worked with LSH and their clients on this exciting marketing campaign.
