London Road Fire Station opens doors for consultation
Allied London has announced the second in its series of Create London Road consultation events, allowing the public into Manchester’s London Road Fire Station for the first time in 30 years.
The event is planned for the fire station’s Engine Room on Friday 13 May from 8.30-10.30am.
Allied London’s chief executive, Michael Ingall will outline the developer’s vision to create a landmark destination.
Drawing on public feedback from the first consultation in December, the event will explain how the concept, usages and potential operators for this grade two-listed building have evolved throughout 2016.
The public will be invited to explore and comment on the emerging plans for London Road, and the consultation will also launch a series of events taking place in the summer.
To be a part of the consultation process, people can join the London Road Club, through the Create London Road website. All London Road Club members will receive an invite to the event, with places offered on a first come first serve basis.
The feedback from last December’s consultation event is available to download from the Create London Road website.
Exciting, this is going to be a game changer for this area.
