Logicor completes 112,000 sq ft B&M shed extension

ADI Contracts was engaged to deliver the expansion space, taking the retailer’s Runcorn distribution hub to 455,000 sq ft, with new yards, loading provision and HGV parking added.

Landlord Logicor said that following the revamp of the site, its emission rate will be improved by 10%. LED lighting has been installed with occupancy sensors and daylight controls, as well as EV charging points across the site.

B&M was able to remain on site throughout the construction period

The retailer signed a lease extension in 2022, committing to a further 10 years at the Onyx 350 building. The extension links into the legacy structure, which is located within the Manor Park industrial estate by the A558.

Charlie Howard, managing director for Logicor UK, said the firm is pleased to continue a longstanding partnership with B&M and support its growth.

He continued: “Our collaborative approach to asset management has allowed us to live up to our commitment to act responsibly and make significant sustainability improvements.

“With resilient demand for modern facilities in prime locations like this, we’re committed to continuously improving our warehouses. Delivering quality, sustainable spaces where and when our customers need it.”
