LMH progresses £8m housing development in Everton
Liverpool Mutual Homes has appointed TAC Developments to a £6.9m contract to build 76 new homes on the former site of Notre Dame School in Everton Valley.
TAC Developments is a Liverpool-based contractor owned and managed by Bill Addy, property consultant and chief executive of Liverpool Bid Company, and Dave Griffiths, former director of Cosmopolitan Housing Association.
The £8m project will complete by the end of 2017 and forms part of LMH’s programme to provide 1,200 new homes by 2018.
The development will consist of a range of apartments, houses and bungalows with secure parking. There will be three-storey town houses fronting onto Everton Valley. Properties for affordable rent and shared ownership will be included.
The scheme is the first of a potential four phases that can be delivered on adjoining sites to provide a total of 230 units.
The development is part of the Liverpool Housing Partnership formed in February 2015 which brought together Liverpool City Council, Redrow Homes and Liverpool Mutual Homes. The partnership aims to deliver 1,500 new homes over five years around the city and for LMH to bring up to 1,000 houses back into use as part of a £205m.
