Lancashire appoints M&E partners

Several contractors have been appointed to Lancashire County Councils £10m framework for mechanical and electrical engineering services.

The companies on the partnering agreement are:

The firms will bid for contracts of up to £1m working on council buildings.

The framework will run for up to four years.

Two buildings will be constructed on Blackburn’s 3.7-acre Brown Street car park, totalling almost 140,000 sq ft of internal floorspace.

Supplementary planning documents for the 808-home Barrow-in-Furness project are facing public consultation until 19 September.
